Educational Opportunities
The Warren County R-3 School District is rated "Accredited" by the State Department of Education under the Missouri School Improvement Program. Schools include the K-3 Daniel Boone Elementary, 4-5 Rebecca Boone Elementary, Warrenton Junior High and Warrenton R-3 High School. The high school has been designated A+ status. Through this program, tuition, books and general fees are paid for students who attend a Missouri public community college, vocational or technical school if they have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher, at least a 95% attendance rate and 50 hours of mentoring or tutoring younger students. Private schools include Holy Rosary Catholic school (K-8) and Warrenton Christian School (K-12).

Officials from the City of Warrenton have been able to manage the city's rapid growth while keeping local property taxes very low. Warrenton is a 4th class city. Services include: Mayor and 6-member Board of Aldermen; Planning and Zoning; New county courthouse, completed in 1997; 911 emergency services; Branch Library; Booneslick Regional Planning; Warrenton Police Department; Volunteer Fire Department with fire insurance rating of 6; and a Senior Citizens Center.

Business and Industry Opportunities
Warrenton is a strong retail-based community, with the Warrenton Outlet Center attracting shoppers from throughout the region. The city also has a busy downtown and several retail centers. The Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce supports existing businesses with a wide variety of programs. Economic Development is a top priority for Warrenton. The Warrenton Area Industrial Park was developed in 1994, with development parcels ranging from 1.5 to 25 acres. The sites are fully developed, have low property taxes and easy access to Interstate 70. Area workers are skilled and educated, energy resources are dependable and land costs are reasonable.

Warrenton takes advantage of the four seasons with a variety of recreational activities. City parks provide quiet areas for family picnics and festivals, an aquatic center and tennis courts. Two beautiful 18-hole golf courses are both open to the public. The Katy Trail is a 92-mile bicycle trail that traverses southern Warren County. Bicyclists delight in its tranquil beauty with majestic bluffs, wineries and significant historic stops along the way. The area is a delight for hunters and fishermen. The community also has a full slate of sports activities for the youth, including roller hockey, soccer, T-ball and baseball, basketball, football, volleyball, softball, track and cross country. The Tri-County YMCA offers youth and adult activities. Other activities include the Warren County Fair, live theater, dance and the Warren County Museum. And in St. Louis, only 50 minutes away, activities include Six Flags Over Mid-America, the Muny outdoor theater, The Botanical Center, the Science Center, the St. Louis Zoo, St. Louis Rams football, St. Louis Cardinals baseball and St. Louis Blues hockey.
